History

The District was created by order of the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission, now known as the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (the “TCEQ”), dated August 20, 1999. The District contains approximately 501 acres of land located in central Fort Bend County approximately 25 miles southwest of downtown Houston, Texas and 2.5 miles southeast of the City of Richmond, Texas. The District lies entirely within the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the City of Richmond, Texas and within the Lamar Consolidated Independent School District.
