Back To School Safety
Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 121 (“FBCMUD 121”) encourages everyone to help make the start of the school year safe and successful. Whether you’re driving to work, walking to school, riding a bike, or waiting at the bus stop, a little extra awareness can make a big difference.

The first few weeks of school often bring increased traffic and new routines. Help keep everyone safe by remembering to:
- Slow down in school zones and obey posted speed limits.
- Watch for children crossing streets, especially near schools, neighborhoods, and bus stops.
- Put away distractions and stay focused on the road.
- Stop for school buses when required by law and never pass a bus displaying its stop arm and flashing red lights.
- Allow extra travel time during the morning and afternoon commute, as traffic may be heavier than usual.
